Privacy Policy

Dropple is a product of VitaLinkSoftware L.L.C. ("Dropple", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use dropple.cc, a Dropple storefront, or our text messages, and how we use and protect it.

Text messaging. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the information-sharing categories in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties.

Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, mobile number, email address, pickup choices, order details, tips and any messages you send us.
Account sign-in: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider. Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive limited details from Stripe, such as the card brand, last four digits and payment status.
Sellers: business details, contact information and the information Stripe needs to verify your business and send payouts.
Automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed and similar technical data, collected through server logs and essential cookies.

How we use information

To process orders and payments, and to send order confirmations, receipts and pickup reminders.
To verify your mobile number with a one-time code.
To send text alerts you have opted in to, such as a shop's drop announcements.
To provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse (including enforcing purchase limits), and keep the service secure and working.
To comply with law, including tax and payment rules.

How information is shared

With the shop you order from or follow: we share your name, contact details and order details with that shop so it can fulfill your order and support you. This does not include your SMS opt-in data or consent.
With service providers who help us run Dropple, such as payment processing (Stripe), text and email delivery, and hosting. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or Dropple.
In a business transfer: if Dropple is involved in a merger or sale, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messages

We only send marketing text messages, such as drop alerts, to people who have opted in. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Order-related texts, such as confirmations and pickup reminders, are sent for orders you place. See our SMS Terms for details.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements. When you opt out of texts, we keep a record of your opt-out so we can honor it. You can ask us to delete your information, subject to those legal requirements.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text to stop messages from that program.
Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Email [email protected] to access, correct or delete your information.

Children

Dropple is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will post the new policy here and update the effective date.
